Belle

Belle

Our first Mastiff. We had to put her down at five years old in June 2006 due to Canine Osteosarcoma (Bone Cancer). She opened the door to our love for this breed and the many new inclusions. We still terribly miss this sweet girl.

Bailey

Bailey

The little heartbreaker with LOTS of personality and not one to follow the pack. A distant half-sister to Belle. We brought her home a month after Belle was diagnosed. She would die suddenly ten days after Belle. It was due to rapid onset complications from bloat. She was 17 weeks old.

Boo & Roy

Boo & Roy

Our two Mastiff Rescue boys. (Littermates) Fat happy and in much better shape than when they were brought home in 2002. Their daily activities include sleeping, eating, sleeping, sleeping, eating and sleeping. It doesn't get any better than that.

Hudson

Hudson

Littermate of Sassy. Laid back and cool. His abdomen had always been large. It turned out not to be his hearty appetite but an enlarged and pusthule-ridden liver. Due to the poor prognosis we laid him to rest at 11 weeks at UF Small Animal Hospital. He never complained about a thing. We never saw this coming.

Sassy

Sassy

Sassy-Girl. Littermate of Hudson. She has a shy disposition but will not hesitate to take the lead given the opportunity. She has always been a bit more independent than the other dogs and the tail-wagging NEVER stops. The mistrusting look on her face is constant.

Deke

Deke

We brought him home with a bit of apprehension at six weeks. His naturally sweet, protective nature demands only to be with his "people". His kindness and patience was unconditional. We lost him on 22 Sept 09 due to a rattlesnake bite.  Devastating.

Clyde

Clyde

Our Great Pyrenees Busy-Body

Havoc & Swagger

Havoc & Swagger

Deke's littermate Sasha had a litter of puppies a week before he was killed.  We were thrilled to learn we were going to be able to bring one home.  Then one becomes two. . . that's how Havoc and Swagger came into our lives.

Purdy

Purdy

This is Havoc's daughter - pick of the litter. Long story short, we had to bring her home at 6 weeks due to complications with the mother and the litter.
